It is very likely that everybody in Syria, perhaps excluding those on the Assad payroll, and perhaps not excluding many of them, hate the Assad family.

Young Assad and his very pretty little wife, Emma, as she was called at school in England, had been poster children of the new Middle Eastern Enlightenment until violent terrorists decided to dethrone young Assad, who responded to that aggressive action in the manner precise to ALL political rulers–he mustard gassed the insurgents.

It is the height of hypocrisy to suggest that the incumbent American government, if faced by similar violent threat to its power, would not similarly dispatch its foes.

ALL governments are by nature fascistic–ALL of them–if pushed, will gas their opponents.

The Americans are naive children who posture that: If all Syrians hate Assad, he must be naughty and overthrown with our help on the supposition that among his opponents are democratic forces, notwithstanding that the Americans cannot identify any of those forces.
The incumbent American government asserts that it intends to destroy Islamic State, IS, erroneously called either ISIS or ISIL, as, of late, IS has taken on global aspirations, far, far beyond Syria, Iraq or any port of call in The Levantine, to fly its flag on every curve and corner of the globe.
If the Americans seek a serious and realistic shot at destroying IS, the Americans ought to arm, train and equip Assad, the legitimate ruler of Syria, whose family has a long, storied and hereditary inclination to mustard gas its foes.
