Made men~understanding Mrs. Palin and her swift and savage assassination at Washington~

~~Off on the wrong foot~~The question proffered in the magazine is, of course, rhetorical~~Washington wise guys don’t need any coaching as to how to destroy the stranger in their cage~~anyone from outside the environment must be swiftly gunned down~~

Washington’s goodfellas all agreed about Mrs Palin~~

This broad’s gotta go~~you see what I’m sayin’ Hendry?~~

The rapacious ferocity with which both wings of The Party and its handmaidens in estate fourth fell upon the benignly fetching Mrs Palin in 2008 took many, labyrinthine, twists and turns.~~

The sweaty desperation of Washington men driven~~in the main~~at glimpsing in Mrs Palin’s eyes~~the people~~an accursed sub-species~~most terribly feared at this city~~

And yet, the resulting indictment and wildly successful prosecution of Mrs. Palin~~could not have been more simple~~

You stand accused and of course in same breath convicted, citizen, of having not been one of us~~

For~~as every silly little hick girl arrives at Washington with no vague notion as to what to do with her hair~~

Some silly little hick girls are connected~~and some~~

Well, they~~just ain’t~~

Very much as with the Mafia, you’d better be a very well-connected guy if you seek to stand a chance at Washington~~

For instance, my maternal great grand-uncle Sally knew the ways and means around this little cow town~~

Charles ‘Lucky’ Luciano

The New York City boss built the now legendary Mafia model, turning petty criminal activity into a smoothly operating enterprise that turned serious profits. Along with his associate Meyer Lansky, Luciano even instituted a board of directors. The Genovese family crime boss set up shop in the Lower East Side and palled around with the likes of Frank Sinatra until U.S. special prosecutor Thomas Dewey charged Luciano with 62 counts of compulsory prosecution. He was deported to Italy in 1946 and then appeared in Cuba a year later. But he never regained the status and cachet his former life of crime had afforded him and died in 1962.
